Heather is the owner of The Buddha-Bar in Elkins Park Pa. She has been evolving in her passion for Dance as both a student and teacher for over 30 years, creating fitness and dance, yoga, Pilates and Barre, Core based curriculum for over 15 of those years. She added Vinyasa Yoga and barre as her main focus while working with various studios In several beach towns in Southern NJ as well as center city PHL. Adding Pop UP Yoga for charity events to her Flow has been her latest baby. Her passion for dance and BFA from Temple University in various dance techniques, is what keeps her spark alive. Healing herself through Meditation, Reiki & Astrology as well as mentoring all aspiring teachers that come her way, has become a current focus since opening her studio. "I look forward to growing and moving forward in space, in life and through others. I am grateful that as a teacher I am able to practice being a student from everyone that I connect with." Taking her knowledge and love for Art, Dance, Music, Healing, Travel and Creating an "army of goodness" wherever she goes is something that is felt from the moment you connect with her.
Scott grew up in Jenkintown, where he trained in classical and contemporary dance at the Metropolitan Ballet Academy. He was blessed with the opportunity to attend the renowned Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, earning his BFA. Scott has performed at Jacob's Pillow with MADboots, and for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as a dancer and aerialist, as well as with distinguished dance theater company BodyVox in Portland, OR. His yoga journey began in his final year at NYU, when he suffered incapacitating back spasms and bouts of depression. Since studying in depth vinyasa with Tara-Marie Perri at NYU Tisch, and a certification in ashtanga-based vinyasa from Dhyana Yoga in Center City Philadelphia, Scott has been dreaming and scheming of ways to integrate the perfectly harmonious realms of knowledge he has been given by mentors and teachers of many disciplines, including many styles of dance and yoga, spiritual practices like mantra and meditation, as well as the illuminating philosophical and psychological studies rooted in Vedic tradition and eastern and western philosophy as well as ancient wisdom of healers from indigenous peoples all over. He is extremely passionate about yoga and meditation, always curious to know more to be able to put it into practice in a transformative and empowering way. He is ecstatic to be moving and grooving with the Buddha Bar tribe!

Mary graduated Summa Cum Laude from Temple University with duel concentrations in Acting and Musical Theater and a Minor in Dance. Through theatre and arts education Mary works with students aged preschool through high school from the center of Philadelphia through the outer surrounding suburbs of the city. She holds her Yoga Certification from The Vinyasa Yoga School in Rishikesh, India, and enjoys teaching vinyasa flow and meditation. She strives to incorporate her expertise in yoga into her arts education to encourage balance, self-reflection and body positivity. She believes that making art is the most beautiful form of mediation. Mary finds most reward and fulfillment through teaching and enriching young minds of the future with all that she has learned and continues to learn. Lena is a certified Life coach and Astrologer. She has been immersed in the Personal Development field for the last fifteen years. In her pursuit of happiness, Lena has been discovering, applying and sharing a variety of tools to create power, freedom, full self-expression, and peace of mind for herself and her clients. Lena will guide you in the art of observing, understanding and getting creative with your thoughts. This workshop utilizes the process of self-inquiry called “The Work”, which is designed to shift your stressful beliefs about life and your relationships, with self and others. Lena will teach you tools that will help you to understand what’s hurting you, and to address the cause of your problems with clarity.
Christina Fink is almost 10 years into her Fitness career and it all started with her love of nutrition… she believes you can't have one without the other and grew her business from there. She loves inspiring others to find their healthy lifestyle and practices that suit them and make up their very own Bio-individual life-style, no two souls are alike there for are needs vary . She hold certifications in holistic health coaching, group fitness, Pilates Reformer, TRX and spin. She been coaching clients for almost a decade and grew to love pilates and the small studio group atmosphere. In a small space she has the ability to teach women and men correct form, give modifications and build strength in a safe way. While hoping to empower clients to try many modalities of fitness and actives they may have wanted to explore. Fitness is a lifestyle and not just something you do 1 hour a day!
Private Pilates with Angela Santone PTA
Angela has been a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for 20 years working in mostly the outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting. She also has a Pilates Method Alliance certification and teaches both mat and comprehensive Pilates apparatus classes to the athletic and rehab populations. She has Maitland 1 and 2 certifications enabling her to apply her manual skills to help treat various chronic and acute injuries. As a former professional dancer, her primary interest lies in dance injury and prevention and has earned certification in dance medicine and rehab at Harkness Center for Dance Injuries at NYU. She is a wife and mother of 2 boys. On weekends enjoys spending her time outdoors, cycling with her family.
Julian Edwards gained an appreciation and passion for health and fitness early in his life. His career in Track and Field began when he was just nine-years-old. It was through his competitive running – more specifically, sprinting – that Julian learned how dedication, hard work, and a healthy lifestyle were necessary ingredients to performance. As a youth, he ran for three different community club teams where he found success on a national level at the Junior Olympics. In high school he found himself ranked 2nd in the state for the 400 meter dash and 1st place in the Philadelphia Catholic League for the 100, 200, 400, and 4x400 meters. These successes earned Julian a scholarship to Mount Saint Mary’s University where he continued to pursue his love of running at the Division 1 level while pursuing a degree in Business. After college, Julian returned to Bishop McDevitt High School to coach his former team. He spent two years as an assistant coach before being promoted to Head Coach of the Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field teams. Wanting to ensure his athletes’ maximum performance and safety, Julian chose to further his education at The National Personal Training Institute. It was here that he mastered his ability to strengthen the human body, prevent and rehabilitate injuries, and guarantee success. Additionally, the program prepared him for his National Academy of Sports Medicine Certification.
Some of our yoga classes are accompanied with live music performances by the acoustic duo, Zach & Tilli. They frequent the Greater Philly area entertaining crowds with their tight harmonies and smooth instrumentals.

Rosalie brings a love of natural and creative movement to all her classes. A former ballet dancer, she naturally transitioned into yoga after discovering its magic and freedom to experiment. She completed her 200 hour Teacher Training at Dhyana Yoga in Philadelphia in 2016, giving her a firm traditional background in Ashtanga / Vinyasa yoga. She combines that knowledge with her experience in dance to create beautiful, energizing, and invigorating flows, with a focus on strength and flexibility. Connecting breath with movement always, you will leave feeling healed and restored - mind, body, and spirit.
